Soccer Kicks for Cancer is a community outreach and fundraising program developed by US Youth Soccer and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Players will be able to raise funds for research and patient programs by getting donations for the number of "touches" they make on the soccer ball over a ten day period. The goal is for each player to touch the ball 2,000 times over a 10 day period!
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is proud to annouce a partnership with the FireWorks for Kids Foundation, which is the charitable arm of the Chicago Fire Major League Soccer Team! All donations will be made payable to the FireWorks for Kids Foundation who will take the total donation and match it! This partnership will ensure that The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society will have as much money as possible to put towards a cure for blood cancers.
